Poza funkcjonalnością współczesnym uzupełnieniom protetycznym stawia się wysokie wymagania estetyczne, dlatego należy eliminować popełnianie błędów w wykonawstwie laboratoryjnym. Mosty to uzupełnienia stałe, które służą do odbudowy utraconych tkanek jamy ustnej pacjenta. Ich zadaniem jest polepszenie warunków żucia, estetyki i wymowy. Jednak nieprawidłowo wykonana odbudowa może nie tylko pogorszyć wygląd estetyczny, ale również działać szkodliwie na zdrowie pacjenta, przyczyniając się do różnych schorzeń.

Bridges are fixedrestorations which are used to reconstruct thelost tissues of the oral cavity of a patient. Their taskis to improve the conditions of chewing, aestheticsand pronunciation. However, improperly fabricated restoration may not only worsen a patients’ aesthetic appearance, but also cause harm to theirhealth by contributing to various diseases.
