The palatal canal was then prepared with E3 file. The preparation process started with Basic set that comprises 30/08, 25/06, 30/04 files. The torque and rotation speed were set on an endodontic handpiece according to manufacturer’s instructions. The 30/08 file was inserted at 15mm, the 25/06 at 19 mm. Recapitulation was done with C file (10). The 30/04 file was inserted to the full working length. After thorough flushing a manual file size 30 was inserted and as it did not become stuck the apical area was prepared with another two instruments from E3 Big set, i.e.: 35/04 and 40/04. A manual file size 40 was inserted but it did not rotate, which is why the preparation of the canal was concluded. DB canal was prepared with only three E3 Basic rotary files: 30/08, 25/06, 30/04. The MB canal was initially prepared with Basic set due to significant curve and afterwards the working length was verified and two files from Small Apical set were used: 20/04 and 25/04, and inserted to the full working length (fig. 18).
A standard flushing procedure was applied during preparation. After drying the canals, they were obturated according to CWT method. AH plus was used as a sealer. A follow-up X-ray showed that the root canals are properly obturated (fig. 19).
