Case 2
A female patient, aged 46, reported to the Outpatient Department of Periodontal and Oral Mucosal Diseases of the Faculty of Conservative Dentistry with Endodontics at the Medical University of Silesia in Zabrze for a consultation regarding a similar change to the one described in case 1. On fig. 15-19 we presented particular stages of removing the fibroma of the lower lip using the SMARTm PRO laser applying the same procedure and parameters as in the previous case. The histopathological examination confirmed the preliminary diagnosis.
Case 3
A male patient, aged 25, reported to the Outpatient Department of Periodontal and Oral Mucosal Diseases of the Faculty of Conservative Dentistry with Endodontics at the Medical University of Silesia in Zabrze for a consultation regarding gingival hyperplasia of the anterior alveolar part of the mandible. The patient’s history did not provide any information of any systemic diseases and he did not take any medications. The patient noticed the pathological change for the first time 3 years ago. In the clinical examination gingival hyperplasia was visible in the section of teeth 33-43 and an oval opening with the dimensions 1 x 1.5 cm in the projection of interdental papilla 31-32 (fig. 20). Pathological changes in the color and consistency of the unchanged part of the gingiva, penetrating the interdental papilla, covering 1/3 of the crown of teeth [...]
