Summary
The presented cases of the application of the multiwave diode SMARTm PRO laser confirm its comprehensive capabilities and undoubted benefits of its operations. One device allowed precise and clean incision of soft tissue with single-stage coagulation eliminating inter- and post-surgical bleeding and the need for sutures as well as biostimulation supporting healing processes of tissue and indicating analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects. The awareness of the surgical procedure which does not require the use of a scalpel, increasing the amount of anesthetics, lack of sutures and post-surgical biostimulation improved the mental and physical comfort of the patients. Moreover, the laser therapy allowed the number of follow-ups and post-surgical complications to be reduced. It is worth highlighting that in all presented cases confirm the possibility for histopathological evaluation of tissue removed with a laser. Total duration of all procedures as well as intuitiveness of use of the Polish SMARTm PRO laser additionally impact improvement of the physician’s work.
